Experience and perspective
I have worked in financial services since 2013, quickly gravitating towards providing people with personalised financial advice.
I’ve always been the type to roll up my sleeves and really dig into the nitty-gritty details. With years of navigating the real challenges of running a business and managing complex finances, I know what it’s like to wrestle with tricky accounting and unravelling complex financial knots.
Having grown up watching my parents struggle financially, I’m deeply committed to protecting my clients from similar outcomes. If only my parents had received guidance at key points, their situation could have been very different.
I find the rebuilding phase incredibly rewarding.
I’ve been through a divorce myself – starting over and rebuilding. That experience lit a fire in me to help others avoid financial pitfalls and gain control of their money.
I’m all about empowering you to make informed choices aligned with what’s important to you (not anyone else).
Role at Lume Wealth
Most people who find their way to Lume are smart and capable. They’re just not money experts, and they don’t want to become one while life is already demanding a lot of them.
They’re often:
- Time‑poor (busy professionals and business owners juggling a lot),
- Financially disorganised (because life and business got there first), or
- Going through a major change (divorce, inheritance, retirement, selling a business) and they feel lost, vulnerable, or unsure where to start.
My role is to help you get out of “uncertain and stuck” mode by:
- Getting clear on what’s actually going on (including the messy moving parts),
- Untangling complexity without judgement or jargon,
- Mapping your options and the trade‑offs in plain English, and
- Building a plan you can follow, then supporting you to implement it.
I’m the person who will happily get into the ‘nitty gritty’ with you. That’s usually where the biggest risks (and best opportunities) are hiding.
Life outside of Lume Wealth
In my spare time, you’ll find me salsa dancing, travelling the world, and enjoying being a red wine enthusiast.
