What you get

Secure messaging and important documents, kept in one place

The MyFinance Hub gives you a place to message us privately and share documents in a dedicated portal, so important information is not scattered across vulnerable inboxes and attachments. Our communications, the advice we’ve provided, and key reference documents (e.g. wills, trust deeds, property contracts) can be kept together in one place.

A clear view of your portfolio under our management

See your portfolio under our management in one place, with values updated automatically. It helps you track progress over time and feel more in control between review meetings.

A balance sheet snapshot, as at our last update

See a broader snapshot of your balance sheet as of our last update, based on the information we have on record. It is designed to give you clarity, not complexity.

Privacy and security

Financial information deserves a higher standard of care. The MyFinance Hub is built on enterprise-grade portal technology enabled by Australia’s leading financial advice software, with security controls that are independently audited to recognised standards.

In plain English, it is designed to help protect your privacy while making it easier to stay organised.

Your finances, your way

If you choose to work with Lume, the MyFinance Hub is an entirely optional and wholly complimentary inclusion.

It is there to make the day-to-day easier and more secure, especially during life changes, big decisions, and busy seasons.

Frequently Asked Questions

How secure is the Lume Wealth MyFinance Hub?

The MyFinance Hub is designed for financial advice clients and built on enterprise-grade portal technology used widely in the Australian advice industry.

A few practical points that matter:

  • Access is controlled via your own login, so information is not sitting in an email inbox.
  • The connection is encrypted (you will see https in the address).
  • The underlying technology is supported by a provider with an information security management framework independently certified to ISO 27001, which is a globally recognised security standard.

Security is also a shared responsibility. We recommend using a strong password, keeping it private, and contacting us if anything looks unusual.

Why do you recommend using the portal instead of email?

Email is convenient, but it is not built for sensitive information. Messages can be misaddressed, forwarded, or end up sitting in multiple inboxes and devices.

With the MyFinance Hub, private messages and documents stay behind a secure login. That reduces risk, and it also keeps everything easier to track in one place.

We still use email sometimes when it makes sense, but for secure communication and document sharing, the portal is the better default.

Will this replace speaking with my adviser?

No. It is simply a tool that supports the service.

You can still call us, meet with us, and communicate in the way that suits you. The MyFinance Hub is there to reduce admin and make secure communication simpler between meetings.

What is the difference between the Analysis section and the Balance sheet section?

They serve different purposes.

Analysis focuses on the assets we manage and monitor as part of your portfolio construction. It is designed to show changes over time and give you a current view of your managed portfolio.

Balance sheet is a broader snapshot of your overall position as at our last update, based on the information we have on record. It includes properties, personal assets, and all other aspects of your financial position. It is typically refreshed when we update your details, often at review time, and when you let us know something has changed.

In short, Analysis is your ongoing managed portfolio view. Balance sheet is your wider picture as at the last refresh.

How often is information updated?

For the Analysis view, updates are regular, but timing can vary.

  • Most investment values are based on end-of-day pricing and can take one to two business days to flow through from third-party providers.
  • Some assets update less often because of how they are priced or reported. Depending on the asset type, updates may be monthly, quarterly, or even annual.

For the Balance sheet view, updates depend on when your records are refreshed. It is not intended to be a day-to-day live view.

Why might the MyFinance Hub be a day behind my product provider portal?

That can happen, and it is normal.

Product provider portals often show the latest transactions and pricing first. Consolidated reporting tools can lag due to end-of-day processing, pricing cut-offs, and third-party data feeds.

If you need the most up-to-date transactional details, the product provider portal and statements are the source of truth. The MyFinance Hub is designed to give you a secure, consolidated view and a smoother way to communicate with us.

What documents can I store in the MyFinance Hub?

It is useful for documents we prepare for you, and also for documents you want kept centrally.

Common examples include:

  • Estate planning documents (copies)
  • Trust deeds
  • Company documents (for example certificates of incorporation)
  • Insurance policies and schedules
  • Property related documents (for example contracts and settlement paperwork)
  • Key correspondence and reports
  • We recommend keeping original signed documents stored safely. The portal is ideal for copies and working documents that you want easy access to.

Do I have to use the MyFinance Hub?

No. It is optional.

We recommend it because it is the most secure way to share documents and communicate about sensitive topics, and it helps keep everything organised between meetings.
