FAQs
We know big financial decisions come with big questions. Here are the ones we hear most often.
Getting started
Getting started
Not at all. Many clients come to us feeling disorganised or overwhelmed. We’ll help you make sense of where things stand and build from there.
We specialise in people going through major life transitions: selling a business, divorce, planning for retirement, or navigating a significant inheritance. If you’re facing a big financial decision and want a caring expert in your corner, we’re likely a good fit. Start with a free 15-minute call and we’ll tell you honestly.
A no-obligation 15-minute phone call to get a feel for your situation and whether we’re the right fit for you. There’s no pressure and no fee.
Yes. While we’re based primarily in Fortitude Valley, we work with clients across Australia virtually.

Yes. Collaboration is part of how we work. We coordinate with your accountant, mortgage broker, and legal team to make sure everyone is working toward the same goal.
This depends on your advice tier. All ongoing clients receive at least an annual strategic review. Higher tiers include more regular check-ins and proactive outreach when legislative changes or life events warrant it.
Typically a few weeks from our first meeting to a completed plan, depending on the complexity of your situation and how quickly we can gather the information we need.
Yes. As a licensed financial adviser, Lume Wealth is legally required to act in your best interests under Australian law. That’s the foundation of how we operate.
Fees and pricing
Fees and pricing
Our upfront advice fees are fixed and transparent. You’ll always know the price before we begin. Our tiers are clearly described on our pricing page.
We don’t take commissions on investment or superannuation advice or products. For insurance advice only, we can charge a fixed fee or be remunerated directly from the insurer. We’ll always explain which applies to you.
Yes. The first 15-minute call is complimentary and carries no obligation. The purpose is to get to know more about each other so you feel confident we’re a good fit.
No. Ongoing advice is not a requirement to receive initial advice, and you can cancel your ongoing arrangement at any time. We also review the arrangement with you each year.
